Job summary

Sunstates Security is seeking an Operations Manager for the Rochester, NY area to lead daily security operations across contract sites. You will supervise staff, manage onboarding, and ensure policy compliance, while coordinating payroll and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license in all areas under command.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and motivate supervisory staff to oversee day-to-day site security operations.
• Oversee onboarding: interviews, candidate selection, training, licensure, and paperwork.
• Train subordinate supervisors on software systems, guidelines, and company policies.
• Coordinate payroll, billing, accounts receivable, staffing, scheduling, and personnel issues.
• Carry out site assist visits and QA audits.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager/Director to set goals and communicate them to staff.
• Work with sales/marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.
