Homes for the Homeless in Staten Island, NY, is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the security team at our Families w/ Children facility. You will oversee Safety Aides, enforce FDNY protocols, and respond to emergencies.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS Security Guard License, F-02, F-80, and T-89 FLSD certifications, 5+ years of security experience with leadership. We offer comprehensive benefits and a commitment to community.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• F-02 Certification required.
• F-80 Certification required.
• T-89 Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) Certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of security experience with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise assigned shift staff.
• Ensure compliance with security and FDNY protocols, reports, and regulations.
• Train staff on protocols, procedures, and equipment usage.
• Conduct workshops for staff.
• Train staff on incident report writing.
• Keep all critical files up to date.
• Respond to emergency situations.
