Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Security Operator for night shifts in Pullman, Washington. You will be the first line of support, combining customer service with security awareness to keep SEL safe and secure.

The role requires observing security policies and working a Thursday–Sunday schedule from 6:00pm to 6:00am on an alternating Wednesday. Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, documenting incidents, and performing compliance audits.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Physical Security team as a Security Operator in Pullman, WA. Be the trusted first line of support when it matters most. As a Security Operator, you'll combine customer service, problem-solving, and security awareness to help keep SEL safe and secure. This is a night shift position. Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00pm-6:00am.

A typical day as a Security Operator might include:

• Provide exceptional customer service while observing SEL security policies and culture.
• Create and maintain security documentation as required and perform compliance audits.
• Monitor alarms, assess the security implication of incidents, and respond appropriately.

Pay Range Data - $25.28 - $37.36 per hour

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Security Operator level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
