The Role
The Security Operations Team Lead will manage and maintain Cyber Security Operations within the DevSecOps framework, supporting Hollard’s cyber resilience strategy.
This role will focus on:
Leading, mentoring, and developing the Cyber Security Operations team.
Fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and operational excellence.
Overseeing the Cyber Security Operations Support function and toolsets.
Ensuring on-time delivery of the annual Security Operations Plan.
Managing threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Maintaining network and endpoint security solutions (e.g., Palo Alto, F5, EDR).
Monitoring and protecting Group Information Assets and manage Zero Trust initiatives.
Maintaining compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
Coordinating cyber security assessments, penetration testing, and reporting.
Maintaining Cyber Security Operations playbooks, procedures, and guidelines.
Providing advanced cyber security advice across internal and external business units.
Driving continuous improvement in cyber security architecture and operations through industry best practices and research.
Building strong partnerships to support and deliver security initiatives.
About You
Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Firewalls, EDR, SIEM, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
Proven background in Cyber Security Operations, including playbook development and operational improvements.
Solid understanding of cyber frameworks, security assessments, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure application development practices.
Ability to assess risks, complete advisory analysis, and document policies, procedures, and reports.
Knowledge of intrusion detection systems, penetration testing, and network security tools.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with both cloud and on-premises environments (Microsoft preferred).
Relevant Degree or minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Certifications: CISSP required, and Microsoft certifications and/or Security Operations certifications highly regarded.
