Job summary

Sierra Space in Louisville, CO is seeking a Security Specialist II to support physical security and information protection across programs. You will manage access control, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection to safeguard personnel and property, and process security clearances in compliance with NISPOM.

The role requires 4+ years of security experience (or 2 years with a Bachelor's), strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience. Or 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Above average technical security knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide physical protection for personnel and company property
• Process security clearances for programs
• Conduct and manage investigations related to security incidents
• Perform interviews as part of investigations
