Job summary

Sierra Space in Colorado is seeking a Security Specialist II to support and administer organizational security operations. You will implement procedures to protect personnel and company property, using cameras, access control, and intrusion detection systems while processing clearances and conducting investigations as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of related experience, strong knowledge of NISPOM, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Typically 2+ years of related experience.
Must have above average industrial security knowledge.
Experience in managing investigations and conducting interviews.
Knowledge of the NISPOM and classified information management and processing.
Ability to navigate government websites for security-related information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Provide physical protection for personnel and company property using security systems.
Process security clearances for various programs and manage investigations.
Conduct interviews as part of investigations and compile findings.
Manage and process classified information per the NISPOM and standards.
