Job summary

Avanade’s Security Operations Manager leads security monitoring and incident response using Microsoft Sentinel in hybrid and cloud environments. This client-facing role collaborates with client security teams, Avanade delivery teams, and Microsoft partners to improve security posture and operational maturity.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on delivery, two or more years in consulting, and holds Microsoft Security Certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience & certifications.
• 7+ years cybersecurity experience with hands-on delivery and leading workstreams & delivery teams
• 2+ years consulting experience
• Microsoft Security Certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery teams in a client-facing, security monitoring and incident response context.
• Manage client expectations and contribute to pre-sales or solution shaping.
• Collaborate with Avanade delivery teams and Microsoft partners to protect, detect, and respond to threats.
