Job summary

Kodeva LLC is seeking a senior SOC consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Sentinel to conduct a comprehensive assessment of current operations, platforms and tools. You will identify gaps, align with industry standards and provide actionable recommendations across incident response and threat intelligence integration.

Responsibilities include reviewing architecture, policies, infrastructure, logs and KPIs; enhancing Sentinel capabilities; and mentoring team members to optimize SOC processes

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in SOC operations with deep MS Sentinel expertise.
• Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
• Proven ability to design playbooks and automate responses.
• Strategic thinker with leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an As Is assessment of SOC operations, platforms and tools incl. Microsoft Sentinel.
• Review architecture, policies, infrastructure, servers, apps, logs and KPIs to identify gaps.
• Ensure alignment with NIST, MITRE, Magma, Defense in Depth, ISO 27001, SOC I/II.
• Provide technical consultation to enrich Sentinel functionalities with best practices.
• Evaluate integrations, use cases, playbooks and automation solutions for optimization.
• Deliver strategic guidance to align SOC services with customer goals.
• Analyze capabilities and provide actionable recommendations for incident response and threat intel.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing observations, gaps, recommendations and matrices.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and technical consultants to validate processes.
