Job summary

DK Security is seeking a Uniform Security Lead Officer to oversee security operations at client sites in Michigan. The role focuses on supervising staff, maintaining a visible personal presence, and ensuring compliance with client and company policies to uphold safety and order.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, prior security leadership experience, and the ability to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED (associates degree preferred).
• Must be able to pass a drug test at time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• 2 years minimum security officer experience strongly preferred.
• Must present a friendly, professional image to clients and staff and have strong customer service skills.
• Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aid/AED certified; MS Word/Excel proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Billable: maintain a personal presence on-site and be approachable to staff and patrons.
• Supervision: direct, supervise, and manage subordinates per policy and security standards.
• Site Training: oversee training of all officers and ensure duties follow post guidelines.
• Site Post Orders: keep post guidelines updated and review with client annually.
• Client Communication: maintain regular contact with client and update operations manager.
• Payroll: approve time sheets and ensure timely submission.
• Discipline: assist with progressive disciplinary actions as needed.
• Incident Reports: review and approve written reports of investigations.
