Job summary

DK Security is seeking a Uniform Security Lead Officer in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on supervision of site security operations, ensuring staffing and adherence to post guidelines, and maintaining a strong client relationship.

Responsibilities include directing officers, coordinating training, approving payroll, and handling incident reports. Candidates should have at least 2 years’ security experience, be available for 40+ hours weekly, and hold a valid Michigan driver license.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional image expected.
• Must pass drug test at hire and ongoing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and email is required.
• 2 years minimum of security officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned officers and maintain a visible presence on site.
• Coordinate training and ensure officers follow post guidelines.
• Maintain client communication and update operations manager regularly.
• Approve time sheets and ensure weekly submission.
• Assist with progressive disciplinary actions per policy.
• Review and approve incident reports and manage equipment inventory.
