Job summary

PacArctic LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Lead Guard / Security Manager to supervise ESS Operators and Security Guards on-site for USFK Headquarters. This SOFA-covered role demands hands-on security leadership, strong compliance, and readiness for exercises.

The ideal candidate will oversee operations, manage shifts, conduct briefings, and ensure accurate reporting while maintaining top security standards on a U.S. military installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in physical security operations.
• Experience in security leadership roles (Shift Supervisor/Team Lead).
• Hands-on experience with ESS, access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Proven ability to manage shift schedules and review security logs for accuracy.
• Experience with personnel and vehicle screening and enforcing security policies.
• Familiarity with government security policies and reporting standards including DA Form 4930-R.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of ESS Operators and Security Guard personnel for USFK HQ Building.
• Oversee and perform security duties per contract requirements.
• Serve as first escalation point for operational security matters.
• Conduct quality control reviews of reports, logs, and records.
• Manage shift schedules and personnel assignments to ensure coverage.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate priorities.
• Operate and monitor ESS and access control systems; enforce screening procedures.
• Maintain alarm/ intrusion records and government reporting compliance.
• Lead incident response and coordinate with Captain of the Guard and FSO as required.
• Adapt schedules for exercises and contingencies.
• Identify and report deficiencies and vulnerabilities for resolution.
