Job summary

PacArctic LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an experienced Alternate Site Security Manager to lead security operations at a government facility in Chantilly, VA. You will work with the Facility Manager and Security Officer to manage personnel, contracts, and incidents.

The role requires 5+ years in security operations, supervisory experience, and ability to obtain a security clearance. Strong leadership and on-call readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years in military/civilian security operations and management.
• Experience in supervisory roles within security operations.
• Valid security clearance or ability to obtain required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of all security-related tasks and contract requirements.
• Support Facility Manager and Facility Security Officer in day-to-day operations.
• Exercise decision-making authority over contract performance and security operations.
• Maintain command and control over contractor security personnel.
• Coordinate and supervise security specialists performing access control and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols for protected areas.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies as they arise.
• Oversee ESS operations and monitoring.
• Manage personnel scheduling and coverage of security posts.
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop security staff.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders on security matters.
• Ensure security documentation and reporting requirements are met.
