Job summary

Pibank USA is seeking an IT Security Engineer – Team Lead to drive security across the SDLC and act as the hands-on leader of the security operations team. You will manage EDR, email security, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident investigations while guiding two to three analysts.

You will coordinate with CISO and VP IT, translate security risks into business terms, and help drive improvements across security stack in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity or CS.
• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as CrowdStrike.
• Experience with AD, Entra ID, M365, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience leading projects or analysts.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Preferred: FFIEC/GLBA/SOX/PCI DSS in regulated financial services.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python is valuable.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS security, Zero Trust, and next-gen firewalls.
• Security+ or CySA+ or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer, tune, and maintain EDR, email security, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and related security tools.
• Monitor, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and contain remediation efforts.
• Lead incident response activities and document findings for lessons learned.
• Manage vulnerability remediation lifecycle and risk-based prioritization.
• Oversee phishing defense, including DMARC/DKIM/SPF and simulations.
• Collaborate with MSSP for threat hunting and detection rule development.
• Support identity security: MFA, privileged access, and access reviews.
• Define SLAs for remediation based on severity and risk.
• Plan and execute security projects from scoping through delivery.
• Mentor a team of two to three security analysts.
• Prepare runbooks and operational standards.
