Job summary

Job Talent is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to own incident management, threat detection, and the ongoing improvement of our security posture. You will lead a team of four engineers, setting priorities, providing technical guidance, and driving security initiatives across the business.

You will work to strengthen detection and response capabilities, collaborate with DevOps, and ensure security measures scale globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SecOps, cloud security or similar.
• Experience leading a security team.
• 3+ years threat analysis and SIEM investigation.
• 2+ years CSPM experience.
• 3+ years cloud-based global technology product company experience.
• Hands-on with EDR/XDR and endpoint investigation.
• Experience with vulnerability management and risk prioritization.
• Strong cloud security knowledge across AWS/Azure/GC

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of four security professionals with direction and mentorship.
• Own and improve incident management processes for faster investigations and responses.
• Enhance threat detection, tune SIEM alerts, and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, guides, and standards across the org.
• Drive security tooling improvements and ensure consistent security assurance.
• Monitor cloud configurations via CSPM across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews.
• Improve logging, visibility, and evidence collection across systems.
• Lead continuous improvement to adapt security against evolving threats.
