Job summary

DK Security, Inc. in Detroit, MI, seeks a Uniform Security Lead Officer to oversee security operations on site, supervise officers, and maintain a visible, approachable presence for staff and patrons while ensuring compliance with client policies.

The role requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, a clean record, the ability to pass a drug test, CPR/First Aid certification, and a flexible schedule with travel as needed; 2+ years of security leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED (associates degree preferred).
• Must have no felony convictions or disqualifying offenses as listed, and pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter.
• 2 years minimum experience as a security officer strongly preferred and previous leadership/supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Billable: maintain a personal presence at the facility and be approachable to staff and patrons.
• Direct, supervise, and manage subordinates per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee site training and ensure officers follow guidelines.
• Maintain updated post orders and meet annually with client to review guidelines.
• Communicate with the client and operations manager regarding requests and updates.
• Approve time sheets and manage payroll within deadlines.
• Assist with progressive discipline as needed per policy.
• Review and approve incident investigation reports.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and uniforms.
