About the company

Our client is a growing security services company focused on advanced physical security and surveillance solutions — AI-driven camera monitoring, drone detection, and integrated access control for high-end residential, commercial, and government clients. This role will lead the transition and ongoing account management for an acquired portfolio of security clients and play a central role in shaping operations and growth.

Role summary

We're hiring a disciplined, technically curious leader to act as the primary point of contact for our security client portfolio. This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial position combining client transition and account ownership, technician coordination, ERP administration, and business development. Ideal candidates come from elite military backgrounds (special forces / Navy SEALs or equivalent) and bring strong communication, leadership, and people skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact (POC) for an assigned book of security clients through transition and ongoing service.
  • Lead client outreach and onboarding: make scripted outreach calls, explain transition, address questions, and build trust.
  • Enter and manage client/system data in a specialized security ERP; coordinate with accounting for billing setup and accuracy.
  • Manage scheduling, dispatch, and oversight of technicians and subcontractors for service requests and installations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and rapid issue resolution to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Represent company at networking and industry events; pursue business development and referral opportunities.
  • Learn and communicate product capabilities (drone detection, AI camera analytics, other security tech) to clients and prospects.
  • Help develop operational processes and scale the security operations team over time.
Day-to-day
  • Majority of time (~60–80%) on client outreach, transition conversations, and relationship management.
  • Regular ERP administrative work and coordination with accounting/tech teams.
  • Field visits and on‑site client meetings across the DC metro area (requires reliable transportation).
  • Technician coordination and service oversight.
  • Periodic business development outreach and attendance at 3 networking/events per month (approx).
Required qualifications
  • Elite military background required (special forces, Navy SEALs, or equivalent experience) — a must‑have for this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer‑facing presence and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and high character.
  • Comfort with technology and basic electronics; ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
  • Some technical or engineering exposure (telecommunications, comms, electronics, systems engineering or similar).
  • Experience managing or coordinating technicians, field teams, or subcontractors.
  • Proven relationship‑building skills and a sales/service mindset for client outreach and referrals.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation for local travel.
Nice to have
  • Prior security industry experience (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, field‑service work).
  • Familiarity with security‑specific ERP or field‑service management software.
  • Experience with drone detection, AI‑based video analytics, or related security technologies.
  • Prior business development or event‑driven networking experience.
  • Experience in contract‑to‑hire conversions or scaling small operations.
  • Work with cutting‑edge security tech (drone detection, AI camera monitoring) and a small, highly impactful team.
  • Significant ownership and visible impact during a critical company transition.
  • Clear path for growth and potential upside through profit‑share / equity mechanisms for top performers.
