Job summary

Encore is seeking an IT Security Engineer to protect our systems and data across global infrastructure. You will monitor threats, respond to incidents, and support the operation and improvement of security platforms.

You will work closely with systems, network, and application teams to strengthen our security posture. You will triage events, assist with tool deployments, and help ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general IT experience (help desk or desktop support).
• 3 years of incident response experience.
• Proficient with DNS security, EDR/Blue Team tactics and data loss prevention.
• Experience with security tooling including SIEM, email/security awareness, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, network traffic, and user activity to detect incidents.
• Lead incident handling, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
• Operate and tune security platforms (SIEM, EDR) and deploy new tools.
• Communicate risks and remediation steps to stakeholders and teams.
