Job summary

REGENT is building a bold new class of coastal transport with Seagliders and is scaling from prototype to production. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you’ll own day-to-day security operations, monitor alerts, manage vulnerabilities, and support incident response while aligning with security standards.

You’ll collaborate with IT leadership and cross‑functional teams to strengthen data governance and resilience.

Qualifications

• EDR experience with triage and escalation.
• Vulnerability lifecycle understanding from scanning to reporting.
• Incident response fundamentals and coordination with senior staff.
• System hardening, baselines, drift detection and remediation.
• Identity and access management basics and access reviews.
• Clear, accurate security documentation habits for audits.
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end ownership of tasks.
• Regulated-environment exposure is a plus but not required.
• Automation or scripting for security monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day security monitoring and triage findings.
• Drive vulnerability management from scanning to remediation tracking.
• Execute incident response procedures with escalation as needed.
• Maintain secure baselines and drift monitoring; verify configurations.
• Support joiner/mover/leaver workflows and access provisioning.
• Assist with data governance, DLP, retention, and DR readiness.
• Improve security processes and automate where possible.
• Keep runbooks, SOPs, and GRC evidence up to date.
• Support security awareness and training across REGENT.
