Job summary

REGENT is building Seagliders and scaling its security posture as it moves from prototype to full production. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to monitor, investigate, and respond to security events while driving vulnerability remediation and governance across the organization.

You will work with the Director, IT & Infrastructure to defend sensitive systems, data, and operations in a fast-paced startup environment with ongoing security enhancements and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• EDR experience: triage and investigate endpoint alerts.
• Vulnerability management: lifecycle from scanning to remediation.
• Incident response: detection, containment, recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day security monitoring of endpoints and alerts.
• Drive vulnerability management across REGENT teams with remediation tracking.
• Execute incident response with guidance from IT leadership.
• Maintain configuration baselines and drift monitoring.
• Support identity and access management workflows and reviews.
• Assist with data governance, DLP, backups, and continuity testing.
• Improve security processes and documentation as we scale.
• Keep security runbooks and SOPs audit-ready.
• Support security awareness and phishing simulations.
