Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Security Systems Specialist in the United States to maintain IP CCTV and access control systems, and to design and integrate security solutions for enterprise environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Genetec, Prowatch, and Lenel, plus strong troubleshooting, project coordination, and ability to work independently under pressure. Some travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience maintaining enterprise-level IP-based CCTV systems and NVR appliances/Software such as Genetec.
• Minimum of three years’ experience maintaining enterprise-level Access Control systems (Prowatch or Lenel).
• Minimum three years’ experience in CCTV/Access Control design, integration, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships and communications with staff and executive management.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Accurately estimate work effort for all technical deliverables.
• Identify alternative solutions at component and architectural levels.
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day support activities with various groups.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel, project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duty and provide off-hours emergency support as needed.
• Review and assist with construction and installation of remote systems and expansion of existing systems.
• Lead maintenance and modification of applications and security systems for efficient operation.
• Develop enterprise security designs with Property Development, Solutions, and Facilities based on the Basis of Design.
