Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a SOC Operator to monitor security events and coordinate response from a centralized Operations Center. You will log incidents, verify alarms, and dispatch responders as needed during Sunday to Thursday night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in security operations, CCTV/VMS experience, and strong written reports. This role requires nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 coverage, with excellent communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in Criminal Justice or Security is a plus.
• 1–2+ years in SOC, security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, military, or similar monitoring environment.
• Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, radios, intercoms and security software.
• Strong written documentation and report-writing.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and log incidents with event details.
• Provide centralized law enforcement radio monitoring, alarm monitoring, and dispatch as needed.
• Follow SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Security Opertions Center (SOC) Officer

SHIFT :

Sunday to Thursday

11:00pm to 7:00am

Pay Rate:

$19.00 an hour.

Core requirements:

• 1–2+ years in SOC, security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, military, or a similar monitoring environment
• High school diploma/GED; associate degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, etc. is a plus
• Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, radios, intercoms, and security software
• Strong written documentation and report-writing
• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 shifts
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Ability to follow SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
