Job summary

Code 4 Private Security is seeking a vigilant SOC Operator to monitor CCTV systems, coordinate incident responses, and support HOA enforcement. You will function as both Surveillance Room Operator and Security Dispatch Specialist, ensuring rapid, clear communication and precise documentation of all activities.

The role requires strong composure under pressure, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid Nevada PILB Guard Card with Armed Endorsement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize changing situations.
  • Basic computer proficiency; surveillance/dispatch software experience preferred.
  • Experience in security, dispatch, surveillance, or related field is a plus.
  • Situational awareness; professional judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor surveillance systems (cameras, alarms, access control).
  • Identify suspicious activity and incidents in real time.
  • Document and escalate incidents per protocols.
  • Support HOA rule enforcement with surveillance evidence and details.
  • Receive and prioritize calls for service; dispatch officers to incidents.
  • Maintain clear communication with onsite personnel and emergency services.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and logs; ensure confidentiality.

Position Overview

The CCTV OPERATORS plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating incident response, and supporting enforcement of HOA rules and community standards. This position requires the ability to function effectively as both aSurveillance Room Operator and aSecurity Dispatch Specialist, ensuring rapid response, accurate communication, and thorough documentation of all security-related activities.


Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor all surveillance systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems


Identify suspicious activity and security incidents in real time


Report, document, and escalation incidents according to established protocols


Support enforcement of HOA rules by providing surveillance evidence and incident details


Dispatch & Incident Response

Receive, prioritize, and manage calls for service from residents, security officers, and management


Dispatch security officers efficiently to incidents and service requests


Maintain clear, professional communication with onsite security personnel and external emergency services (police, fire, medical)


Provide accurate, timely updates to management regarding incidents and responses


Communication & Documentation

Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and dispatch logs


Facilitate clear communication between residents, security officers, management, and emergency responders


Ensure strict adherence to company policies, security protocols, and confidentiality standards


Required Skills & Qualifications
