Job summary

Code 4 Private Security is seeking a Security Officer for graveyard shifts in California. The role involves safeguarding people, property, and information across various environments, with vigilant patrols and rapid incident response.

You will operate security systems, communicate with team and emergency services, and prepare detailed daily activity reports to ensure safety and compliance. Shift: 11:00 pm -7:30 am.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and emergency responders.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms and take appropriate action.

About the Role:

The Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and information within various environments across the United States. This position involves vigilant monitoring of premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. The Security Officer will respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires consistent communication with team members and law enforcement agencies when necessary, as well as detailed reporting of daily activities and irregularities. Ultimately, the Security Officer contributes to a safe and secure atmosphere that supports the operational success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a security or related role.
• Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with security software and communication tools.
• Ability to use wireless technology and radio communication devices effectively.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive motions and climb stairs as required during patrols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in security training or law enforcement.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Experience with advanced surveillance systems and incident reporting software.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Previous experience working in a corporate, healthcare, or government security environment.
