Job Description

Allied Universal is looking to hire an Assistant Account Manager. The role involves assisting the Account Manager with supervisory, training, and operational functions at the assigned post, following all internal procedures and client instructions. We provide a comprehensive, week-long onboarding course to support success in this role.

Salary Range: $55,100 - $65,100 / year

Must Have: Prior GSOC/SOC Operator Experience.

Typical Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm, with flexibility required.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with coordinating all technical and managerial aspects of the security contract at the assigned location, including task assignment and supervision of Security Professionals.
2. Supervise, motivate, coach, and evaluate Security Professionals or shift supervisors, ensuring performance and operational standards are met.
3. Maintain and update Post Order manuals and other training materials; ensure the post is well maintained.
4. Support the hiring process by conducting interviews and training new employees, including onboarding and emergency response procedures.
5. Oversee reports, logs, and communications within the Security Department, distributing information as needed.
6. Manage sub-units such as fire control, command center, and loading docks, and generate work orders for security coverage requests.
7. Respond to minor incidents, ensuring proper action, documentation, and communication.
8. Identify personnel issues and escalate or assist with investigations; may recommend disciplinary actions.
9. Respond to emergencies, maintaining positive client relationships through regular contact.
10. Occasionally perform Security Professional duties, not exceeding 50% of weekly hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Valid state Guard License, with successful background check and ongoing license maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean record, and required insurance.
• Energetic, focused, with strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Availability for outside shift work and emergency contact 24/7.

Preferred Qualifications

• College education or business classes.
• Experience in scheduling and security operations.
• Proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office.
