Job summary

Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, and remediate intrusions globally from its Ireland-based remote setup.

You will work within a 24/7 SOC environment, advancing your malware analysis, incident response, and threat-hunting skills while contributing to detections and cross-functional collaboration on security initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as attack surface.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and common SOC tools.
• Experience with static and dynamic malware analysis concepts.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, GP, and enterprise domain administration.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Perform malware analysis and forensic artifact review to identify root causes.
• Engage in improvisations to remediate threats and improve detections.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and team-mentoring initiatives.
