Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will apply hands-on SOC experience to analyze incidents, classify alerts, and refine detection logic to improve AI-driven security outputs. What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios to assess what is happening, why it matters, and how it should be handled
• Classify alert severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
• Review and evaluate detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation procedures
• Validate AI-generated security outputs to ensure they reflect how experienced analysts actually work
• Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows
• Strong ability to distinguish true positives from false positives and background noise
• Detail-oriented with clear, structured written communication
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence, or digital forensics
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework or similar security frameworks
• Prior exposure to AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
• Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, CEH, or Security+
