Alignerr is seeking an Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) to analyze security events, alerts, and incident cases using realistic data. You will help improve how AI interprets alerts, correlates events, and supports digital investigations.

This remote, freelance-friendly role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to frontier AI security research. Requires 2+ years in SOC or IR, SIEM familiarity, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases
• Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation actionsEvaluate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks
• Review and rate AI-generated incident analysis for accuracy and operational relevance
• Provide structured feedback that helps AI systems reason like experienced responders
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tools
• Skilled at separating meaningful threats from background noise
• Strong analytical mindset with clear written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with structured feedback formats
• No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or purple team exercises
• Familiarity with common frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or NIST IR
• Background in cloud security operations or endpoint detection and response (EDR)
