Job summary

Titan Security Group in Oak Ridge, TN, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for evening/overnight shifts (Mon-Tue, 11pm-7am). This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, controlling access, monitoring cameras, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe environment at the property.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, be 18+, obtain a Tennessee Security License, pass background and drug checks, and meet physical requirements including lifting 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Able to acquire and maintain Tennessee Security License.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing foot patrols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties on duty.
  • Maintain clear, accurate logs at front desk for people or property.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors.
  • Monitor security cameras and patrol to prevent theft and keep environment safe.
  • Respond to incidents and record data for Titan Security management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location- Oak Ridge, TN

This is a Part-Time Position

Monday-Tuesday 11pm-7am

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Tennessee Security License
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
