Job summary

Titan Security is hiring for a Full-time Security Officer in Birmingham. You will provide customer service, control building access, monitor cameras, patrol premises, and respond to incidents as part of a team dedicated to safety and excellent service.

Requirements include 18+, a HS diploma/GED, ability to obtain a Tennessee security license, pass drug/background checks, and 2+ years of experience. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Tennessee Security License.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).
• 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and record data for property management.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-time position

Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm with an hour lunch break

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Tennessee Security License
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Must have 2+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
