Job summary

Titan Security is hiring for a Full-time Security Officer position in Birmingham. The role focuses on entertaining tenants and visitors while maintaining safety and access control across properties.

Responsibilities include customer service, logs, access control, camera monitoring, and incident response. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to obtain a TN security license, pass screenings, and meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Tennessee Security License.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs and patrols.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties while on duty.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and document them for management.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-time position

Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm with an hour lunch break

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Tennessee Security License
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Must have 2+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi‑lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
