As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol in NEWARK, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, parking areas, dock doors, office spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors, or suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
