Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Security Officer with Active Clearance Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve and safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and urgent situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in retail common areas and parking.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions per site procedures.
• Assist visitors and document incidents and daily activities as required.

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, tenant spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and documenting incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
