Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and credential verification procedures in accordance with site requirements for an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with personnel, visitors, and responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
