Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with Active Clearance Full Time Patrol in Fairfax, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while working with a collaborative team.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $24.02 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts and evening hours Monday through Friday at aerospace/defense locations.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking and perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions and hazards with clear incident documentation.
• Assist with access control by verifying authorization and communicating with employees and visitors.

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Full Time Patrol in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to integrity and a caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and facility hazards to appropriate personnel, completing clear and accurate incident documentation.
• Assist with access control activities by observing entry and exit points, verifying authorization as directed, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
