Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Muncie, IN. You will provide customer service while performing security procedures, patrol production and industrial areas, and monitor access points to deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, offices, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
