Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Weekend Screening Attendant in Perrysburg, OH to screen individuals and materials, monitor entrances, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment.

This part-time position offers a weekend schedule (Sat 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; Sun 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with a pay rate of $17.98/hour and growth opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Inspect identification, credentials, and authorized items to help prevent unauthorized access and prohibited materials from entering the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
