Job summary

Allied Universal in Greencastle, IN seeks a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Operations). You will monitor a commercial property, deter incidents, assist with access control, and communicate with tenants and visitors to ensure safety and security.

Schedule includes Sat 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and Sun 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with a pay rate of $17.95 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen; CPR certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:
