Allied Universal, based in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for weekend monitoring. You will protect client sites, perform patrols, and support access control with a focus on safety and customer service.

Position offers flexible weekend shifts with a $21.00 per hour pay rate. Ideal candidates have security experience, reliable reliability, and ability to use a computer or tablet on shift. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
