As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Operator in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, receiving areas, and other designated entry points; verify credentials and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records as required.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, surrounding retail areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Maintain clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and access‑related activity to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
