Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Systems Coordinator in Whitestown, IN to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain visitor records while delivering professional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and staff.

As a full-time role, you will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, perform patrols, and coordinate with store personnel and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail location personnel, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, entry points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, mall management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations.

Pay Rate: $15.81 / Hour

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
