Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Deter unauthorized access and report irregular activity by observing inbound and outbound traffic and following escalation protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; adapt to varying client site environments.

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
