• Control access for personnel, deliveries, and contractors according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Control access for personnel, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
