As a Security Officer Checkpoint Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing site entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, teamwork-driven culture built on integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and manage access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged access points, and security-related hazards in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
