Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Screener in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more.

As a Screener in the tech/media/telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity. Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour

Job Schedule

Day Time

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

1. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
2. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
3. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

1. Loss prevention experience is preferred.
2. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
3. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
4. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
5. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
6. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
7. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
8. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
9. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
10. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
