Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management by verifying credentials and directing authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and deter unauthorized activity with a visible presence.

As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology‑focused location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures by verifying credentials, directing authorized guests, and reporting access‑related concerns according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site contacts and emergency responders, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
