Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Foot Patrol to safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while coordinating with site personnel.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
