Qualifications

• Three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct normal and random foot or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials as directed by site procedures; report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Overnight Patrol in South Las Vegas, near South St Rose Parkway, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and visitor movement, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
