Job summary

Allied Universal in Fresno, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect people and property at a technology-focused site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service while enforcing site policies.

This role offers flexible DayTime shifts, requires a valid driver’s license, and background and drug screening as required. Training and career growth opportunities are available, with access to our Shift-claim platform to view and take

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management, verifying credentials and directing individuals per site requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately using required reporting tools.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and relevant security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
