As a Security Officer Access Control Identity Validation in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, checking visitor and vendor authorization, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian entry and exit points, following established procedures for deliveries, shipments, and restricted-area access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
