Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. • Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; communicate access concerns, irregularities, and unauthorized-entry attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; report observed hazards, damaged equipment, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
